THE STORY SO FAR…

The Hope Church story can’t be understood without a real sense of God preparing the way in surprising ways! It started with a number of local people who had been praying for a while with a growing sense that God wanted to do something new in the area.

In the Autumn of 2018 a few people began to gather to pray and this resulted in a small team of people committed to forming a new church for the community. Hope Church started meeting in Shirley Community Primary school in May 2019 and then officially ‘launched’ as a church on the 8th September 2019.

Our passion is to see Chesterton and Kings Hedges transformed by the reality of God’s love as revealed in the Scriptures and offered freely through a relationship with Jesus Christ. We’re excited to be on this adventure with God, and we’d love you to join us!

Hope Church is an Anglican church and a sister congregation to St George’s parish church.
